Peter organized BBQ, meant to call out ECE friends, friends friend etc etc. Last minute got a few people aeroplane, so left with the usual us. BBQ was fun, heavy rain during late afternoon, cooling during the night. We took 2 hours to set up the pit, aheahea, we damn buay kan seriously.

Volka pear seriously sucks. Taste like freaking cough syrup. NO MORE PLEASE!

DAY 3 + last day

Everbody woke up damn late, due to the previous night drinking. TW and lester managed to wake up, and they went to another art centre.

BKK have a sense of arts too =)

TW and Lester meet up with us at Plantinum centre for lunch and shopping
After shopping at plantinum, went down to central world for dinner.
Slight rain, and the floor was kinda slippery.

Dinner at jap restaurant, after that, back to hotel for short rest, gather together to chat, play and poker games. Not much sleep as we have to wake up at 5.30am, to catch breakfast and to the airport.

Friday Sentosa with pn, jb, daryl, marilyn and shiqi, after awhile, jb's girlfriend came to meet him. We decided to go Cafe Delma, where we could order our drinks, and yet play a little of vollyball and a little of frisbee just right outside the cafe. If we cannot tahan the burning sensation, we can just jump into the swimming pool and cool down =D. Spent most of the time in the swimming pool because it was too comfortable. The sun was sometimes hot, sometimes cool, not a good day to tan, but still, we got sunburned. Left the place without jb and his girlfriend, and went to Marche vivio to have dinner, fiona met us later and the 6 of us went for 8.40 movie, Shinjuku Incident. My rating 8.5/10

Although it feels good to be at home, wherever it is in SG, its still the same old stressful and high standard of living type of life here. Maybe it is just me, people and life here compare to those in other countries, like Laos or Philippine is like heaven and earth. I went to Bintan with a heavy mind, and came back with a stress-free and load of my mind. One will tend to forget all worries or stress. So, you can imagine how comfortable and peaceful it is there. If I were given another trip to Bintan, HELL YEA!

I saw this when i step out of my floor lift today. Some guy obviously did not pay back the money, and it stated #03-494, and i stay at the 4th floor. That unit which is on the left is like quite far from my house which is on the right, have to walk awhile then walk up the stairs, then walk abit more. I dare to say, loan shark these days are quite dumb, they dont know how to write at the correct place. In the end, somebody called the police, and they went up to my house and took pictures and ask afew questions. I kaypo abit, went down to the actual scene to take a look. Not as bad as shown on TV. Just some paint splashed on the door and even more graffiti.

Saturday's F1 at Jeff's house + supper + Ponggol End + ghostly stories and lastly, a little quiet house warming at Deric's new house at Seng Kang was really really fun. This is the 2nd time we met up since he came back from attachment in China.

Kinda disappointed with the F1 winner. Both Massa and Raikkeon din manage to get top 3. During warm up rounds and qualifying rounds, lots of driver took the wrong route + more BUANG then usual F1 cup. My opinion : Singapore road not suited for F1 racing, roads too narrow, bumpy surface and crappy routes =D

Today is chinese lantern festival. Went to my relatives house to try out their home-made mooncake. Not that bad, close to a 4 star hotels quality. Reach home early as my mom wanted to watch her show, so out of bordem, i decided to take out last year used lantern and light them up and hang around my balcony.

School seems quieter with most kakis leaving for industrial visit in Malacca, and some going for attachment. OK time to update. Went to Thomson Plaza Yamaha to support my sister mini piano concert organize for teacher's Day. Not only my sis perform, many other senior and junior perform too. Whole family was there, including my sister's boyfriend and my bro's. Its damn qiao, my sister's piano teacher was actually her boyfriend's uncle.

My sister played well, so did other performer. But after my sister played, it seems boring. Most of us begin yawning and watery eyes. My mom woke me up after the whole thing end.

Yesterday, Andre drove down to meet us for supper at Serangoon Garden ChompChomp. So he's coming down from west to east area. So those that stayed in the east area, act as a 'host' to bring them around. HAHA. After that, went to Yishun Dam for some test driving, then Changi Village, ehem, then to T3! Talking rubbish and slacking at T3 is the best. Good place to relax, quiet environment, makes one forget about worries and stress. We could stay there longer, but no choice, Andre's sister need to use the car so we went off around 5am and then we split off to our own home.

NDP preview this sat. Hope everything turn out alright. No nagging aunties, no swearing uncles and cock-up stuffs please.

WOOOOOOO, it have been day since i last update this blog. Well, workload got lesser, less pressure, more fun, but exam is approaching, so have to mug again. Yesterday was the usual 'Bowen gathering', Lucky, Vivien, Sherry, Trudy, Louis and CeJie. Went to serangoon garden K-Garden. Surprising, met Eldon at the coffee bean there. I ask him to join us for a drink since its just opposite. Half-way through the singing, he came up twice to find us, meet some of my friends and his primary school friend. HAHA we were awsome dude! Cant sing much, maybe because of dry throat. Reach home around 3+, was feeling abit tipsy, din bath and fall into deep sleep till today, around 3pm?HAHA.

No NDP show today since they given us one week break. Next show will on the preview next week, and I'm looking forward to it, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I have tons of pressure pressing on me now. Projects, assignment, mini-projects etc etc. The only time i could relax was during the NE shows. OH YA, last sat NE3 was well, quite fun even with the rain. Was deployed to CHIJ lady of the nativity with JingWen. HI JINGWEN! When we reached the bridge, it started raining, so no choice, have to usher the p5 kids under the rain, and the only shelter i had was the small cap they have. After the whole thing, back to the school at around 9.30pm, then went home, then rushed out for movie at AMK Hub. Hellboy 2 was not that bad, still acceptable to watch, 3 popcorns out of 5.

Last Saturday's NE2 was really really fun, much better than NE1. I was deployed to AMK primary with Wendy, which is quite near to my house and very near to hers. I admit P5 kids was naughty, active, but they were so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. You know what, they call me teacher when i first arrive at their school. I got stunt dude. I found out that different school have certain behaviors. Normally after a tiring day, those students will normally fell asleep on the bus, or just keep quiet, BUT for them, OMFG, they were super duper active man. I think among those primary schools, AMK PRIMARY, YOU ROCKS MAN! Guess what the form teacher told me when i ask them why are they so active? ''They drank too much sweet drinks till they siao.'' We were like huh, then burst out into laughters. The whole thing ended at 8+, reaches AMK primary at around 10.45 and then home sweet home.

Went to watch chi bi(red cliff) with the usuals at AMK Hub yesterday. It was a good show but sadly, the ending was ''to be continue''. DAMN SPOILER. Good actors and actress, beautiful background and bloody scenes. 4.5 / 5 stars for this movie.

NDP session yesterday, brief on the NE shows next coming 3 weeks. Went to town after that to celebrate Pang Ngee's birthday with ley, nix(xin fang) and lec(celine). The whole day was like damn busy. We lunch at Hong Kong cafe and it was fun with all the chatting, jokes and the weird riddles. How many meh meh jump over the wall, Fazzie Wazzie likes_____, don't like ______, this is red this is blue this is silver what colour is this and 'black' magic etc etc. Went down to Timbre after that to look for peter, for the PowerJam event to support his friend, then to marina square for dinner. Meet with Kenny, JB and Ethan to have swensen. Last program was at Clark Quay. Loiter around quite long as we can't any suitable pubs. In the end, we went in KANDI BAR, order a bottle of Absolute Vodka shared by 8 of us. Can't order anymore as we have our 'budget'. As the night was still early, we slacked at the mac near MOS, then home sweet home.

Watched this morning match at kelvin's house. As it was raining, so I slacked at his house till 7+am, then slowly walk back home under the drizzling rain. OH NO! I just realized that I can't sleep, so here i am, entering this blog. Yesterday NDP training was, ahem, quite fun. Yes, its role playing. I thought to myself that i wont be so 'lucky' to get call out to do a role play as the % was like 1/200, and unluckily, my name was called out at the last scenario. I got called by this Raymond guy, who is the head of heartware i suppose. As usual, my name was pronounced wrongly again, and i got 'shoot' by him for not shaving off my sentimental goatee and the sleepy look on my face.

School reopen tomorrow and its like I have another 24 hours left of freedom. Been sleeping really really late during the holidays, so i might try to sleep early today to adjust my usual clock back.

Yesterday clubbing was fun with Mambo and R&B since we keep moving around between phuture and zouk. Went early just to get the free entry from the citibank clear card, then slack outside zouk. The party started at around 11.30, so we have to wait till that time before we enter. All ended at 4, then wait till 6 to take cab, since its much cheaper with the stupid midnight charge.

Have been sleeping late everyday, around 5 - 5.30am ,and waking up automatically around 12pm - 3pm, guess my dark rings around my eyes will get darker each time. I NEED MORE SLEEP!

Today is father's day and also my big brother's birthday, went out for dim sum in the morning at crystal jade, then went home to rest awhile, then go out to geylang lor 20 for dinner. There is a nice restaurant behind the ally, that is more toward the main road. As usual, people mountain people sea, and theres one thing that happen first time in my life. I was walking behind my parents and was the last one behind, so we have to walk pass this ally to get to the next ally where the restaurant is. In the ally, theres always illegal prostitute sitting around and pimp finding 'prey'. So i was walking, and using the phone, and suddenly this guy, most likely to be a pimp, tag on my shoulder and walk beside me. The next thing he ask '' xiao di, want to try anot? 30 dollars an hour'', i was like -.- and then just ignore and walk away, and after dinner, we walked back, but using another route to avoid that ally, and another guy approached me and ask the same questions. IS REALLY WTF LA!

Conclusion : never walk alone in geylang, its better to walk in pair or groups so you wont happen to be the prey!

My laptop have been acting strange this few days. Auto shutdown, auto disk cleanup etc etc, just like, it has a life of his own. I had been using this laptop for nearly 3 years, everyday without fail. If my lappy die down on me, guess there goes my life too.

Last thurday's paper did not turn out as what i expected. Got stuck in some of the questions, but i think it should be ok, since its just a Common Test. All i can do now, is just do slightly better during exams, right? Finally 2 weeks breaks! What shall i do at home, eat, play, stone, dream, rolling on the sofa? Hmm sleeping longer might be a better option.

I nearly got a heart attack when i reached home today, because and finally MY SIS CAME BACK FROM KOREA and well, she gave me a really really nice big surprise. She bought back lots of kimchi, esp for me and yes I LOVE KIMCHI! Those sour and spicy cabbage, seal tightly in big box, makes me drool whenever i see them, can't wait to tear the box and slowly admire those darlings. YUMMY~

Ok enough of the kimchi thing. Really happy that she came back, the house was not that noisy since she left for Korea about 1 and a half weeks ago. She bought a sunglasses for me, kinda retro and look weird on me, but I still like it. My parents got some chivas from the airport, and some miniature from Korea, my brother and his gf got this funny bell from Korea, kinda loud when you shake it slightly harder. Lots of story to be told by her, so i shall keep this post short, for the time being.

Last paper on Thursdays, preparation for FCS nearly 50% done, have to really really mug in school tml. Just came back from dinner, with Peter, Pang Ngee, Jian Bing, Ley and Jeff. Studied in school till 7, then went to Long House for dinner in Peter's dad car. He drove there, and ya, he still did not have his license yet. Food there was not so bad, esp their Korean food. I drove them back, from Long house back to Peter's house and then bus home. The feeling to drive a smaller car is way way way better than driving a bigger car. So, WHEN WILL HAVE TO MONEY TO GET A CAR OF MY OWN!?

Can't study at night and gastric pain keeping coming on and off, so i guess its time for some research and some chatting. Can someone plan a outing on Thursdays/Friday? Please?

2nd sesson ended quite early today and it was damn B O R I N G! 4 hours of briefing and presentation, makes your butt itchy when you sit on the chair. Overall briefing was about the fund raising thing and about what we going to do on the NE shows and the actual NDP parade.
